If you are unable to race this year after you have received your race confirmation email for 2018, you may either withdraw by sending an email to hello@houtbaychallenge.co.za.


  • If you chose to withdraw, the next person on the waiting list will be offered your place, if withdrawal takes place before 18th July 2018.
  • Withdrawals after the 18th July 2018, will not be offer to the anyone on the waiting list and there will be no refund of your entry
  • You will receive a refund after the event, only once the person on the waiting list payment has been confirmed. You will be refunded your entry fee less the processing fee. This does not include any additional purchases (t-shirt, etc.).
  • Your entry will only be cancelled once the person from the waiting list entry has been confirmed. You will receive a cancellation email to confirm this.
  • T-shirt purchased will need to be collected at Race briefing or other arrangements made for it to be collected before the 31st August 2018.
